BOOKS

There are hundreds (if not thousands) of wonderful, exciting and informative books that have been written about Los Angeles, dealing with everything from before the founding of El Pueblo de La Reina de Los Angeles in 1781 to present day life.

Listed below are two lists which contain the following:

1. LOS ANGELES HISTORY BOOKS. Books that primarily relate to Los Angeles' history in some fashion. Some are about history per se, some contain photographs, and some contain general information. The common link is that all of the listed books are connected to Los Angeles. Some may be out of print and difficult to find, but they are available. Some of these books are in the library of Las Angelitas del Pueblo, and some are not. If you have any suggestions for additions (or deletions) to this list, please email us at info@lasangelitas.org.

2. LAS ANGELITAS DEL PUEBLO LIBRARY BOOKS. A listing of all of the books that are contained in the library of Las Angelitas del Pueblo, alphabetically by author. These books are available to be checked out (with some exceptions as noted below), only by members of Las Angelitas del Pueblo. For more information on how to check out these books, please email us at info@lasangelitas.org.
